The Boise River previously known as 'Reeds River' is located in the North Western part of United States in the state of Idaho. It is approximately 75 miles long and it is a tributary of the Snake River. Boise River is responsible for most of the tourists getting attracted towards Idaho. Tourists come in for various activities like swimming, rafting and fishing. Boise City is one of the major cities at the banks of Boise River.

There are diversions dams that are built over the Boise River. These dams were built under the Boise project and they are helpful in many ways.
